Good buildings are designed and built to serve the people inside.  Our staff has experience in the design of the major systems that affect the comfort and performance of a building's occupants.

Electrical Design Services

Power Distribution.  This includes normal power distribution from the main service entrance to each electrical device throughout the building.  This can also include emergency power systems from a generator, a UPS, or from a secondary source.  Lightning protection, grounding, and transient voltage surge suppression (TVSS) are also part of our services.

Lighting.  Interior lighting involves the selection and layout of appropriate fixtures and the design of any standard or special controls.  Exterior building and site lighting is similar, but also involves compliance with local lighting ordinances to preserve "Dark Sky".  Our lighting services also include the design of custom lighting controls, building automation, and specialized applications.

Life Safety.  This includes everything in a building that is designed to help occupants reach safety in the event of an emergency.  Typically, this entails exit signage, egress lighting, and fire alarm systems.  Additionally, we can provide design services for area of rescue assistance (ARA), emergency call (residential or assisted living), or nurse call (medical facilities).

Telecommunications Infrastructure.  Telecommunications continues to be a growing part of building design.  Our services include the design of the infrastructure that provides various forms of communication throughout the building, including cabling for data networking, telephone, television, public address, and paging.  We also design and coordinate the pathways for the cabling using conduits, cable trays, or duct banks.
