Our ExperienceThe professional staff at Ling Partnership has the appropriate educational background, experience, and technical knowledge to undertake most MEP work in the building industry. In particular, Moses Ling and Stephen Soltis have provided mechanical services and Richard Koval has provided electrical services for numerous studies, renovation projects, and new construction projects. The staff is familiar with industry design standards, as well as all pertinent local, state, national, and international building codes.
Every member of the professional staff holds a degree in engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. All of the lead engineers are registered Professional Engineers and are graduates of Penn State's Architectural Engineering program.
The firm has worked on individual projects in excess of 650,000 square feet in size and more than 44 million dollars in construction costs. Projects administered by the firm range in size from small commercial lighting designs and mechanical/electrical existing conditions reports to large multi-building campus type facilities.
In addition to working on a team with other professionals, Ling Partnership also has considerable experience as the prime professional. For example, the firm's recent experience includes two such clients – the PSU Office of Telecommunications and the Ebensburg Center for the Pennsylvania Department of General Services. Ling Partnership has served as the prime professional on a variety of other types of projects including office fit up work, mechanical and electrical systems studies, base building upgrades, and quality evaluations.
