Moses D.F. Ling, PE, RA, LEED AP
Principal
As Principal of Ling Partnership, Mr. Ling directs the
mechanical, lighting and electrical engineering efforts for the
firm. He is involved in the production, design and project
management of all projects in the office.
Mr. Ling has more than twenty-five years of professional
practice, education and research experience in the energy systems
and applications related to buildings. He is a registered
Professional Engineer in nine states and the District of Columbia
and a registered architect in the state of New Jersey. His design
projects are located across the continental United States from
Florida to Alaska. He served as project engineer for several
national A/E firms prior to the founding of Parfitt/Ling, Ling
Partnership's predecessor.
Mr. Ling has designed numerous projects with energy conserving
features. Several of these projects were recognized with prestigious
awards:
- Owens-Corning Energy Award, 1982
- PA Governor's Energy Award, 1988
- PA Governor's Energy Award, 1997
- PA House of Representatives Citation, 1997.
Mr. Ling served on the Pennsylvania Building Energy Conservation
Committee under the Casey Administration.
Mr. Ling pioneered the development of an air-to-air heat pump
application to building waste heat recovery. The system has been
installed in a Central Pennsylvania building with outstanding
results. In 1989 the building with this system received an Energy
Award from the Governor's Energy Council.
